Review: Big Hero 6 (2014)

Disney has been on a massive winning streak the past few years with the success of films such as Frozen, and Tangled. They continue this trend with the highly enjoyable, though somewhat conventional Big Hero 6. Noticeably aimed more at children, likely for he purpose of toy marketing, Big Hero 6 is the first animated disney film to take on a Marvel Comics brand. Never lacking in vibrant colors or energy, where Big Hero 6 really succeeds is not its story, but its overall heart. Characters are consistently hilarious and the action is always fun. Kids may enjoy Big Hero 6 more than others, but that doesn’t mean others can’t have fun too.

My Rating:

3/4
